I try to do that with G:, and first it says "Do you want to delete other apps? This drive has apps from another device.
So I try that, and it opens a config window, where I should choose the "default place to save new content". and gives me the option to "set as your location to install new apps". Now the problem is that when I try to install a new game, It shows me the option to choose drives, and it lists all 3, C,D,G, but only C as a valid option, the other to say "this location is not configured to install games". This was expected, and I assumed that is simply because the crappy UWP thing, so I just had tu suck it up and assumed I have to redownload them anyway.
Now, after setting everything up, The games I had installed already, didn't show on the apps list, nor on Xbox app. I manually reinstalled all my apps and until now I decided to play with GP again. I already had Xbox Game Pass for PC installed, and had games installed in both D and G, since they are big/fast respectively.įor whatever reason, I had to reset windows, Note that I didn't do a "full clean install" but instead choose the "reset windows" with the option to keep my documents. Also note that my OS is in spanish, and I'm translating to english as I write so some messages may not say exactly that in english.
